day one after chimio

William under mummy's duvet today - William sous la couette de maman aujourd'hui yesterday after the chimio, Sandra took me to my parents.this is where i'm staying for few days, so i can rest, and be with the kids (they are on holiday....and full of energy)...

first chimio - première chimio

yesterday, 7h45, Marie came to get me to take at the clinic. first one to arrive in a 5 beds ward...so i had the choice, and i went next to a window. a nice nurse arrived, and plugged me in. i stayed there from 8 am to 3 pm. i saw lots of people coming...

pose de la chambre - installation of device

today, i went to hospital to install a device under my skin, where they are going to plug the chimio (like in Matrix). i had a light local anesthetic, and i've been "hypnotised"....it was really wired....he made me talk about something i like....painting,...

prothèse capillaire - wig

yesterday i went to the wig shop, the girl was extremly helpfull and understanding. she didn't have any "afro" in her stock.....they don't have curly hair wigs cause it's too difficult to make and look after. hier je suis allée au centre de prothèse capillaire,...

infirmières - nurses

yesterday i had an appointment with the nurses. they explained everything, the treatment, where, when, how.... now i know for sure i'm going to loose my hair...in 15 days exactly!!! wouaaaaahh....I've got 2 weeks to get used to look like a boiled egg...

peinture

today, i've decided to do something with myself. i took my brushes and started painting listening to Al Green (he's the other Al in my life! ^^) i've got to finish a portrait, it's an order....and i'm in a hurry! i've got to do it before the chimio starts!!...
